The Romero Family
I am a newborn specilaist who assists Orange County area families during the critical period after the birth of their baby/babies, offering educational, emotional and physical support.  I received my education through the DONA International approved postpartum doula course taught by Postpartum Doula Educator Rosemary Mason, CCE, CLC, PCD(DONA).I am also a College Graduate and CPR Certified through the American Redcross.  My goal is to help families have a smoother transition in to parenthood by being a peaceful, calm and knowledgeable presence and by encouraging new parents to listen to their inner wisdom. I also seek to connect new parents to community resources that will help them gain the support that they need and desire. Being invited into your home to help care for your family during this special time is an honor to me.  Caring for and nurturing newborns is one of the best benefits of my job, but even more than that I enjoy watching new parents learn to care for their newborns and become confident in their new roles.

Motherhood Experience

Nathan & Dana
My own journey into parenthood began at the very young age of 15, when our son was born in June of 1996. At the age of 3 years old, our son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Aprehensive about having more children, Eight years later we were blessed with the birth of our daughter in December of 2004. I married my high school sweetheart and we have been married for nearly fourteen years.  As a mother, I have experienced two c-sections and breastfed both of my children. I understand personally how challenging it can be to adjust to a new baby and the life changes that it brings.
